Help Us Build a One-Stop Islamic Community Centre in Africa.
Every thriving community needs a place where people can worship, learn, seek support, and find a sense of belonging, we call this a home from home. A safe and stable community home is more than just a piece of land with buildings, it is the foundation for strong families, connected communities, and a life rooted in faith and shared purpose. When families have a secure place to call home, they can grow together, support one another, nurture their spiritual and social wellbeing, and contribute to a caring, resilient community.
We are working towards establishing an all-purpose Islamic community centre that will serve as a masjid, madrasa, women’s shelter, educational hub, and centre for community welfare. This project is more than a mere building, it is an investment in generations to come.
The centre shall operate from a location in Africa, The Gambia, and will provide a welcoming space for daily prayers, Qur’an, and Arabic classes, Islamic education, and various other programmes. Alongside religious learning, it will offer workshops, family support, and opportunities for personal and spiritual development.
A key feature of the project will be a dedicated women’s shelter, providing a safe and compassionate environment for women and children experiencing hardship. The centre will also offer practical assistance, guidance, and access to support services that help individuals rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
Our vision is to create a single location where worship, education, welfare, and community services work together under one roof. Whether someone seeks knowledge, prayer, temporary refuge, advice, or simply a welcoming community, the centre will be there to serve them.
Building such a facility is only possible through the generosity and partnership of people who believe in strengthening communities through faith, compassion, and service. Every contribution, no matter its size, brings us one step closer to creating a lasting legacy that will benefit countless individuals and families for years to come.
