Current and future services.
Maroof Services
What services do you provide?
The services we currently provide are mostly learning based educational programs, with limited community welfare and assistance support. Maroof Institute is a work in progress and we are looking to expand our support over time.
At the heart of the Maroof Institute is a commitment to establishing a trusted Maroof One-Stop Centre (MOSC) inshaAllah. The hope is that it shall provide wider access to community educational programs, a masjid, women’s shelter, matrimonial arrangements, funeral facilities, green issues, well-being and welfare support. Such a centre shall help to address immediate needs and long-term challenges of our members and the local community.
The work of Maroof involves Tarbiyyah (a lifelong process of nurturing goodness in all aspect of life), and Tabligh (delivering the message of Islam). This message includes understanding concepts such as Akhlaq, Tawheed, Nubuwah, being Muslim, and other themes within the Quran and Sunnah, such as the environment.
It is guided by Qur’anic principles such as: humanity was created from the same origin, that of Adam and Eve chapter 4:1, mankind are meant to know and understand one another chapter 49:13, cooperate together in what is good chapter 5:2, and uphold human dignity 17:70. In light of this the Maroof Institute welcomes opportunities to serve and engage with people from all backgrounds irrespective of age, gender, tribe, nationality, religious sect/denomination, or colour.
Doing what is good, and right, is not the sole remit of only a few but the shared responsibility of everyone, no matter where you are. Make it happen ethically with daily steps towards that which is encouraged, and away from that which is discouraged.
